I learned much about historical games (so there are history-things). #1880 - China from Ohley and Lobby ( an #18xx). I wrote much about it here for a long time. Than #colonialtwilight - its a #coin game (maybe all coins are cool in that way).

Absolut cool finde ich den Aktienmarkt: wie viele Anteile soll das Unternehmen bekommen, wie teuer soll ein Anteil bekommen und wie verändert sich die Aktienpreis im Verlauf des Spiels.
Sehr viel Gehirnschmalz würde wohl auf die Preise und Einkommen der Hexfelder gewendet: die variieren stark und fordern die Mathematikkenntnisse.
Das Spiel ging knapp aus: 44:42:39:39! Gerne wieder.
Es war schön später Nachmittag, dann war aber bis zum Ende des Wochenendes: heavy-gametime. #colonialtwilight 8/11

#colonialtwilight ist zu Ende gespielt. Schon ein bisschen her und nun endlich kann ich weiter was drüber schreiben (währenddessen läuft DSDS...).
Kurzer Recap: Die FLN wurde von den Franzosen mithilfe der algerischen Polizei zurückgedrängt und es entstand ein Zwei-Frontensystem, indem die FLN in die südlicheren Walayis zurückgedrängt.
Um es kurz zu machen: Die FLN hat sich von der konstertierten Aktion der Franzosen nicht erholt. Ich fand es aus Sicht der FLN sehr schwer, nachdem die... 1/3

Erste Propagandarunde von #colonialtwilight von @gmtgames gespielt. Ich spiele zweihändig. Ich brauche für jede Entscheidung der beiden Parteien 5-10 Minuten. Das dauert länger als gedacht, da ich erst mit den Aktionsmöglichkeiten der Parteien vertraut machen muss und ständig nachlese. Ich bin noch nicht ganz so weit, dass ich die Marker der Franzosen noch nicht richtig einstellen kann - morgen geht es weiter. Nun zu müde. #coin #brettspiele #boardgames @brettspiele @boardgame 1/3

I praised the playbook of #colonialtwilight over the clover. And now im a bit confused, if I play the tutorial correctly (probably). Or the tutorial has some mistakes in it (i dont think so). Hopefully i will do it right at the next Turn tomorrow.

Reading the playbook is much better than to read the rules. Thanks @gmtgames to put this in the Box of #colonialtwilight. I bought this game with another #coin . Hopefully i will understand it fast enough to took this game to #coesfeld (at friday). If someone want to play this, im very happy. By the way: its a 2-Player-Coin. With this little playchart the Game is playable for me alone, too #solo. #brettspiele #boardgames @brettspiele @boardgame

Next game of #BritishWay, Malaya. It is more similiar to #ColonialTwilight , with which I am familiar with. Malaya introduces control and support/opposition of spaces. My wife put up a hard fight and I luckily won because well played terror on the last card. British seem more powerful here, than in Palestine. I struggled little bit with what strategy should I pursue.

I got just two minor complaints - it is difficult to separate the terrain due to similar shades of green and it is hard correctly track the political will because you have to change it every time when the control is removed.

Otherwise great game and totally different experience from Palestine, we both enjoyed it. I like that once you know your strategy, the gameplay is pretty quick.

I have convinced my wife to try #ColonialTwilight from #GMT . First evening was kind of a struggle with the rules and understanding what each piece is for. But the next evening we started to understand it more, everything clicked, and in the end we had a blast playing it.

I was crushed by her as FLN due to poor choice of the strategy. I would like to play it again. But for people starting with #COIN I would reccomend #FallingSky, which seems easier for me.
