My apprehension about #Colbert writing the coming #LotR movie has been slightly attenuated by the information, from someone I trust, that Colbert is a HUGE Tolkien ner.... FAN.... So, here is hoping the movie is not the clusterfuck #RingsOfPower 's middle episodes were.

I have pretty low hopes for the just announced Lord of the Rings movie. The recent films and shows have ranged from "meh" to terrible, and I see no reason this one will be any different.
