PH: A recent Cochrane review on escaping from large carnivores that have entered a home found that no gold standard, random assignment, double blind experiments on fleeing from the home had been conducted and concluded that fleeing is not supported by high quality evidence. We therefore warn that there is insufficient evidence to support risky and possibly dangerous fleeing from the home to escape the "not exactly a grizzly" bear.

I think we're seeing this in action around the use of filters worn over the open ends of the human respiratory system.
The health care clinic I attended yesterday had all staff using filters. But not of the sort consistent with the physics and engineering of filtering airborne particles.
