How can we design for distributed publics? 🌍
New open access paper in CoDesign Journal proposes a hotspot method to move #ParticipatoryDesign beyond face to face workshop, identifying material interventions spots. Bringing together Actor-Network Theory and Design.
Would be great to get some feedback!

Holy cats, I just solved the weirdest issue. I couldn't codesign my app on my desktop Mac (I had been working on my laptop lately), so of course, I was faffing about in Xcode's certificates settings, trying to figure out what I had done wrong. Eventually figured out it seems I had corrupted admin trust settings on this specific Mac, tied to an expired Apple G1 cert. (Something got corrupted during a recent system migration or upgrade, perhaps?)
Weirdly, I had also been having weird Gatekeeper issues on this Mac, with signed apps from well known, good quality developers refusing to launch because macOS thought they might be malware. I bet it was all the same problem. #macOS #techsupport #codesign
NVIDIA (@nvidia)

"The inflection point for inference has arrived." — Jensen Huang, Founder & CEO of NVIDIA We’ve officially crossed a new milestone in the inference era — where widespread adoption of AI shifts from learning to doing. The breakthrough: extreme codesign across hardware and

Virve Hyysalo is a Senior Service Designer who works at Pentagon Design. In this interview, we talk about all the co‑design work that went into creating the Oodi Library in Helsinki. She walks us through the methods they used, and how these approaches made it possible to include different marginalized groups in the design process. We move from the big picture to the tiny details—really diving into how this project was shaped with care, attention, and love. This interview is part of the lists: Diseño de servicios, Finnish design in public sector, D&D in English, Finlandia y diseño, Bibliotecas y diseño. Even though some of the lists titles are in Spanish, content can be found also in English. All the list of episodes in English, which has now more than 40 episodes can be found in the D&D in English. She recommends us to read: Design Participation by Sampsa Hyysalo
Service design and the Mario complex
At Service Design in Government, I discovered that service designers see themselves as Mario. But that is an unrealistic model for what service design should be.https://duncanstephen.net/service-design-and-the-mario-complex/
