India released its five-year energy plan May 31, 2023, which bars the country from building any new coal power plants and promotes renewable energy development. India is the world’s third largest emitter but aims to be carbon neutral by 2070.
And remember, Canada's179 billion barrels of oil, (and all oil) costs what it costs when you buy it,
plus 25 billion in extra pipeline costs,
PLUS an extra 49 trillion dollars to take it out of the atmosphere,
plus the billions in climate collapse damages, like 13 million hectares of forest burning.
Maybe its time to end this farce.
