Yesterday at Waterloo I just missed a train to Esher and industrial action meant a 90 minute wait until the next one. So I caught a Hampton Court stopping train to Surbiton, where I had the choice of a 25 minute wait for a Claygate train (8 minute journey time, 17 minute walk home) or a 10 minute wait for the K3 bus to Esher High Street (25 minute journey time, 5 minute walk home). I opted for the bus, but unfortunately it terminated short in Claygate and I had to wait another 10 minutes for the next bus! The destination blind on the bus was in the process of changing to Roehampton Vale, which is why Leatherhead is displayed. #bus #train #london #claygate
