Many hours of soul-crushing paperwork later, I did a thing that could be considered professional, circus-related, and administrative.
Oh exciting vague-posted tales of a #CircusAdmin. :)

One of the fun parts of being the #CircusAdmin is getting to make decisions which affect not only the technology we use, but important ethical ideas connected those tools.
For example: We're in the process of doing a redesign on our website. Thanks to all of the people who talk about it here, #accessibility has been a part of that discussion.
Keep sharing what's important to you. People are listening, and learning.
In the meantime, I'm trying to learn as much as I can about #hugo #gohugo.
That warm fuzzy feeling you get when the photos from an incredibly large project you worked on a couple of years ago might find their way onto archive.org!
Today's tip from the #CircusAdmin:
Washing costumes and checking on your backups are two tasks that go surprisingly well together.
Today's been the wacky sort of #CircusAdmin day where I talk to equine therapists, plan international travel, and discuss clown stupidity over falafel.
Tonight I'm helping break in (hopefully not) a new stilt walker and teach some clowns.
My lazy day of only doing stuff I enjoy seems to have gotten very full!
Fun parts of being a #CircusAdmin include getting to drool over new performance tools.
Today I unpacked a brand new pair of peg stilts for one of our lead performers. The build quality is the nicest I've ever seen.
So lucky to know passionate makers of quality gear.
I can't wait to get these dialed in for the performer and see her dance.
More twiddling about and generally settling in on the #mutt #experiment today. I actually got some real #CircusAdmin work done today, and it felt efficient.
Love that.
I had to edit on my mailcap file to make it understand that I wanted something specific done with a PDF file. I found this post helpful:

There's a trick in there which shows how to check if you're running a graphical display which seems really useful to know.
That moment your #circusadmin day gets busy enough that you start binding hotkeys in #i3wm to keep your workflow chugging along.
#productivity hack of the moment:
bindsym $mod+KP_Subtract exec mpc toggle
It's the little things. :)
This week has been a significant amount of #circusadmin as opposed to the usual shenanigans.
On the plus side I just legally filed a receipt for a box of kazoos, so I feel like there is some small amount of poetic justice in the world.
