New murmuration movie of tracers following ordinary matter collapsing into a forming cluster of galaxies, in a fully Eulerian MHD Enzo simulation run at #CINECA (Italy).
Notice how this cluster assembles its mass mostly along filaments in the N-S direction.
About 10 million tracers evolved in @julialang , covering about 10 billions of years of cosmic evolution

Unwrapping some of the new simulation data produced at #CINECA during holidays, where I multiply relaunched runs while mostly busy eating.
This is a composite view of the last simulated cluster, of galaxies (from z=30 to z=0) which we will use together with the others to study the possible formation mechanism of large scale radio emission.

Once the network is trained, the time to analyse a single radio map of 2000 x 2000 pixels is just of 0.7s, i.e. incredibly faster than any human-based technique.
Everything was done on the M100 and Leonardo superclusters at #CINECA.

Not entirely trivial to reconstruct the actual cosmic web distribution of gas based on the radio observation, given that the filling factors of the two fields are quite different.
