The other day, I saw #ChrisBumstead mention that his #biceps are short. Honestly, I didn't know what that meant. I just thought it meant that his comfortable resting position was a bent arm, so I looked it up.
While the insertion point is genetic, and this is basically what it means to have short biceps, what actually makes his arm rest in that slightly bent position, my initial assumption on what short biceps meant, is the fact he's a professional #bodybuilder and is thus carrying dense #muscle. His biceps are huge and taut so they mechanically restrict full, casual extension.
I found that amusing because I grew up in the #eighties and #nineties where #homophobia was rife and walking around with your arm(s) bent was considered an identifier of your #sexuality. Fuck, we're an ignorant species. Look how long it took for us to go from wrongly using natural body posture as a means to persecute people to realizing it's simply the mechanical reality of world-class #hypertrophy.
