We use to keep #chickens when I was a child. They all had names and each one a unique personality. So it doesn't surprise me at all that humans are capable of speaking chicken. Just as #cat owners can secretly speak cat!

For anyone following the current chicken and egg saga, I am happy to report that for the second day running we have three. Still small, but that's Bantams for you. I thought we might be getting a fourth, but seems that Amelia was just lazy. She wouldn't shift from her bed, but there was nothing under her when she did.

Emma and Amelia have still to develop combs, so I'm happy to give them more time.
