Here are pictures of my older, established tank! There is a colony of red cherry shrimp living in this one. It is low-tech, I grew the "grass" using a dry start method, no c02 used :3

The beetles got their post, let me introduce the shrimp, the fire red cherry shrimp (there’s at least 10 of them in the tank but this one I was trying to get a macro of how it was feeding. Look at its tiny little feet.

It was -15C/4F in Minneapolis when I woke up this morning.

Are there any #DIY crafters out there who want to help experiment with new #LED #aquarium heater design? It seems like it should work, but I don't have the skills to create a new product.

Or does anyone have experience with #CherryShrimp? Is there anything I should know before I eventually get some?

@rossops nice!! i haven't got a tank of my own set up just yet but i'm definitely going to as soon as i'm able to, probably with #cherryShrimp at the very least. i'm slightly undecided on tankmates but i have some ideas floating around in my head

I did a water change on my cherry shrimp tank last night and today there were more of them than I’ve ever seen hanging out on the intake sponge. There are usually a couple there but I counted about 15 today. I’ve attached a picture and a link to a YouTube video I took of them. #CherryShrimp #FishTank #Aquarium
