So inspired by @designsketching's #cc23acm keynote on unlocking creativity in sketching!

(re)Framing sketching as a way to learn (vs. make sth that looks good), and upskilling as a way to expand the space in which you feel creative (vs. frustrated) while creating and exploring.

And "cheating" w/ photos + tracing to bootstrap explorations to expand available creative space.

Wondering if/how generative AI might be helpful here (while being careful to retain the value of agency and embodiment)
