Cannon Ball Race 2024 is over. We won overall, apparently no-one else has won allt the races of the regatta before. We were lucky to do so, one was with a 4s margin after 3.5 hrs of #sailing . Today's #cbr2024 #sailing. 7 hours, 52 NM is 7.43 kn *average*! Normal avg speed is 5 kn for us. 24-28 kn wind, gusting 36 at the end was more than enough and no, I don't want to do it again.
