ZersiaxJust been looking into my #streaming setup as of late, particularly the hardware I use. It appears the #goxlr, finally made accessible through a third-party tool, may need to be replaced at some point as the first-party devs who were working on it all got canned (again) in February, so when it dies, that's it, although that may not be for quite some time given its track record so far.

... Veronica did say in her video that Elgato HDMI USB capture card has been least finicky, more reliable. In comments on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0lYvQ6tscUU people also had mentioned Elgato device eventually crapping out.
So I personally do not have much hope of long usable life of Kondo Blue KB-HDMI-USBCC & Mimo Monitors HCP-1080 devices.
Does the usable life span improve if I drop Linux compatibility & make do with MS Windows?
