Distillation stage 3 up and running. We're now making Naptha and Fuel Gas.
If you like Factorio, but donβt like the combat, and donβt like having to run around as an entity in the world, go pick up Captain of Industry. Itβs basically Factorio in RTS form minus the combat.
Iβm having a lot of fun with it, for the same reason I loved Factorio (tinkering and optimizing systems).

DominikWhoops β itβs already Tuesday and I think I owe you some week notes. Well. Honestly: Iβve been in a bit of a summer slump lately. Iβm not doing much worth talking about, not even a lot of media consumption or anything.
I did finally reach the endgame of Captain of Industry though, which frees up quite a bit of time. At least until the next update comes, which brings trains, so I might just need to revisit it then. But then there will also be the new update of Factorio, with space travel and whatnot. Oh no. Looks like Iβll be spending a lot of time optimizing virtual logistics this fall. (Not in early November, though, as I had planned. But more on that later.)
So, thatβs it β a short update. It will probably be the same βnextβ (well: this) week, if the first two days are any indication.
Oh. I did start mucking about on a new photo blog, though. More on that later, as well, as soon as there are some photos to see.
WolfensteijnFinally finished a run of Captain of Industry.
Didn't unlock all the research items, and didn't build all the production chains. But I did have fun figuring things out.
Now to put this game away for a bit while waiting for the next update, and dive back in then.
