ray ( he / him )the demo for an upcoming game called bombanana! was released on steam yesterday
and i don't think i'll ever play it because it requires three people and it seems to be very conversation-intensive
but i wanted to type a post about it because i really like the concept behind it
it's a three-player , first-person , co-operative , puzzle-solving demo in which each player plays as one of three monkeys
the monkeys are similar to the three wise monkeys as in one is blind , one is mute and one is deaf ; so they're all disabled , each in a unique way ; each of their gameplay is unique as a result
the monkeys are part of a bomb defusal team , so their goal is to diffuse a bomb before it explodes ; this is where the co-operative , puzzle solving gameplay comes into play
as established before , each monkey has it's own unique gameplay as a result of being disabled ; so they will all have to communicate in their own unique ways in order to accomplish their goal
