Oh my, Fabiano Caruana and Gukesh D both won in the penultimate round of the #FIDECandidates Tournament! Gukesh has a half point lead as the last round sees Hikaru play Gukesh and Fabi play Ian. This means it's a must win situation for Ian, Hikaru and Fabi. Will Gukesh keep his lead?

I really can't believe how close it is in the open section of the #FIDECandidates after round 10. Two players are tied for first: Ian and Gukesh, while three players trail by only half a point: Hikaru, Fabiano and Pragg. Can't wait for round 11 to start:

Here's an alternative way to show the score progression up to round 9 in the #FIDECandidates Tournament. It assigns +1 for a win, 0 for a draw and -1 for a loss.
