Even though we all know we live in a diverse society, it can come as a surprise when someone doesn’t celebrate the #usual #holidays that everyone else loves!

Have you shared with this co-worker that there are many people of all different #religions who put up holiday #candelabras to enjoy the #season of #lights, even if they aren’t #religious?

#Menorah is just #Hebrew for light. There are a variety of #candelabras associated with general #Jewish use (typically intertwined with the image of #Jews as a pre-20th century relic). These can have any number of candles like any candelabra.

A #Hannukiah is a #ceremonial menorah used to represent the story of #Hannukah, which is required to have a shamesh (elevated leader candle) and 1 candle holder for each night (8) for a total of 9 candles.
