Just to clarify, you can get this specific view without getting on Pena! Basically, you take the Central Park Bike lane all the way up to 56th, take 56th to Picadilly, Right on 65th, and then a left on Jackson Gap. 56th is the busiest stretch of the route, and there are some separated paths you can take. Getting to the airport itself does require crossing some narrow stretches of Pena, which sucks and absolutely warrants better infra.
