I thinned out a pile of seedlings in the back border a few days ago and they’re starting to shoot up now. Apparently it’s a mix of foxgloves. alyssum, malva and forget-me-nots. Should look better in a few weeks.

Rosa poliantha tappezzante dai piccoli fiori rosso ciliegia, semidoppi e riuniti in grappoli numerosi. I boccioli, sferici e compatti, sbocciano in una fioritura molto abbondante e continua fino ai primi freddi. Il profumo è leggero.

Il cespuglio è denso e allargato, alto circa 40-50 cm e largo fino a 75 cm, con foglie lucide e resistenti alle malattie. Ama il sole e tollera bene sia il caldo sia la pioggia.
