MattAI spam is still obvious
Here is some recent AI spam. This comment actually talks about the topic of the post, which is a step up from the generic one-size-fits-all comments.
Not shown are a number of clues that identify this as spam. Shown is the text and the link. The link alone gives it a spammy vibe. The text, though – that’s where the uncanny valley kicks in. The comment itself shows no actual comprehension. The result is so completely generic to be obvious at a glance. No human would write that after reading my review.
There are other clues, too. I’m going to keep them to myself because I have no intention of helping to train a spamming AI model.
