Se tarkoittaa kalliimpia ja hitaampia siirtoja ja pakottaa transaktioiden tekijät pohtimaan siirtojensa ajoittamista. Siirrot ovat yleensä hiljaisina aikoina hyvin edullisia lohkoketjusta riippumatta, mutta käyttömäärien kasvaessa tietyissä verkoissa hinnat lähtevät nopeasti nousuun ja voivat nousta nopeasti satojakin prosentteja. Tämä haaste vaivaa etenkin arvokkaimpien kryptovaluuttojen eli bitcoinin ja ethereumin lohkoketjuja.

@Ziya Search engines are your friend on this one. #bcash does have a #blocksize cap, its just higher than #bitcoin If a miner tries to submit a block larger than the consensus rules permit, it gets rejected by the network. You can't be a "rogue miner" and just put whatever you want into the chain. Also, #bcash has never had a full block, so their #shitcoin #scaling has never been put to the test. And when it is, it will fail spectacularly.

The DCS Theorem

Blockchain design involves many tradeoffs, and much debate has focused on tradeoffs related to scaling parameters such as blocksize. To address some of the confusion around this subject, we present a probability proof of the DCS Triangle. We use the triangle to show decentralized consensus systems, like blockchains, can have Decentralization, Consensus, or Scale, but not all three properties simultaneously. We then describe two methods for getting around the limitations suggested by the triangle.
