I finished a thing!

Bandai 1/1000 scale Rebel Blockade Runner, aka the Tantive IV, the very first ship seen on screen in Star Wars history

Snap together kit, no glue used, tiny bit of filler on one or two seams, hand painted with a mixture of sprays, acrylics, washes and pastels. Depending on how big your screen is this might appear larger than life.

Bandai Blockade Runner progress, almost done weathering and dirtying up with washes and pastels.

Basically adding new layers of subtle and not so subtle. Looking a bit more worn that at the beginning of A New Hope but hopefully not the dreaded over weathered

More progress, base painting and panelling just about done. Red parts suitably distressed with a toothpick, almost ready for washes and final weathering with pastels and maybe oils

It's funny, every build of this I've looked at online the builder has also chosen to paint the markings rather than use the stickers
