Wondering how to generate in vitro stem models for the human hypoblast or mouse primitive endoderm…the lineage never fully recapitulated in #Blastoids - see this insightful discussion by @MartaPrera of naive extra embryonic endoderm https://rb.gy/anb79 In this review, we discuss the formation of the primitive endoderm or hypoblast and how it can be modeled from naive embryonic stem cells in mouse and human, or ex vivo expansion in mouse….we hope to have more variations in the pipeline soon.
