I had just been watching a video of a VIVIZ photoshoot when I came across this worrying news story.
I so much hope that Eunha, SinB, and Umji can stay together as VIVIZ and find another agency.
Even if they can, I expect there to be not only a contract termination dispute with BPM but also wrangles about intellectual property and performance rights.
In addition to possible problems with past creations, a question of artistic direction in the future looms. Kany, the choreographer who was giving their dance a more provocative style, left BPM herself not that long ago; will the members be able to work with her again? Would a new agency be ready to offer not just the investment but the support and confidence for VIVIZ to continue their growth?
I dread to think what Eunha, SinB, and Umji have been going through. First, there was the failure of the GFriend contract renewal and now BPM appears to be falling apart. In addition, I doubt that THE BOYZ were the only group to have been shortchanged and shabbily treated in general. What stress the poor girls must be under!
I will be most upset if this is the end for VIVIZ.
