VIVIZ -- Eunha

As my ultimate bias, Eunha gets two pictures, showing contrasting but not clashing personae. There is so much to love about Eunha, from her charm when she performs to her shorter hairstyles which I absolutely adore.

GFriend, although not officially disbanded, are dormant and probably defunct. VIVIZ have been in limbo since they ended their contract with an agency collapsing amidst allegations of fraud.

I pray that VIVIZ will be able to relaunch. In the meantime I will continue to remember the Eunha of the last VIVIZ comeback, as shown on the left, and will watch the video of her playing Pokemon, as shown on the right, even though I don't really understand the game. That's biasing for you!

I wish that Umji had kept her natural hair colour, as seen in the article illustration, for the Kazakh stage. The colouring there combined with the make up results in her looking washed out.

Eunha's tank top communicates her cute yet sexy appeal, but the winning outfit for me is SinB's, with the motion of the sheer fabric both showing and complementing the motion of her body as she dances.

Overall , I think the designer Hwang Leesle successfully married elements of communal tradition to the individual tastes of three contemporary women.

I hope the audience appreciated the outfits. They certainly seemed to enjoy "Bop Bop". Perhaps some of those singing along there belonged to....

Eunha, SinB, and Umji are in limbo at the moment after terminating their contract with BPM Entertainment. The uncertainty about the future must be difficult for them, and I imagine they also feel frustrated as they were almost certainly preparing for a comeback this spring.

This fan feels robbed of a VIVIZ comeback too, so I thought as consolation I would go back to a lesser known chapter of VIVIZ history, their performance in Kazakhstan.

I chose "Bop Bop" because I love that debut song of theirs. They also performed a number of GFriend songs, which I think VIVIZ have done either rarely or never otherwise; I decided not to post any of those because I found the absence of Yerin, Yuju, and Sowon jarring.

The modern hanbok outfits were a good choice for women appearing in Kazakhstan as both Kpop idols and cultural ambassadors. I learned a little about the creation of these outfits...
