On a local walk today saw many birds including: robin, blackbird, woodpecker, great tit, long tailed tit, blue tit, chaffinch, goldfinch, goldcrest, wren, sparrow, magpie, crow, starling, grey wagtail and little egret. For the first hour only the robin stayed still enough for me to catch!
Persevered, and got lucky later on with the wren giving me the side-eye and the wagtail.
The little egret is really shy so was lucky to spot it up in the tree.
