The former Schaw Hospital in Bearsden just outside Glasgow. Constructed by the Schaw family and gifted to Glasgow Royal Infirmary as a convalescence home in 1895, this Tudor Gothic style was designed by James Thomson.

The former Buchanan Retreat on Milngavie Road just outside Glasgow. Built in stages between 1861 and 1899, this Tudor Gothic building was constructed by the Buchanan sisters of Bellfield in Ayrshire as a residential home for the elderly. The Buchanan Retreat was later renamed Boclair House and used as a municipal building, and is now used as an events venue.

The remains of the remarkable Bearsden Roman Baths, on the Antonine Wall which was built between AD142 and 144. The baths were rediscovered in 1973 under 1860s development and are now overlooked by rather more modern neighbours.
