Sheila DeBonisI open #Lemmy for probably two minutes and I already see some sweeping "#Israel is evil and #JoeBiden is evil for continuing our long held alliance with it!" comment, which I've now reported but I don't know if anything will be done about it. I wanted to open up #AtomForReddit but I think there's some API snafu again since it says everything is private. Is there a better Reddit alternative, maybe on the fediverse?
It had to happen. Reddit shut down #JoeyforReddit after telling its dev they would negotiate #APIchanges but then shutting off his access to API with no warning, leaving him and his users in the lurch. Then I installed #boostforeddit but that didn't work anymore despite still being in the store, so now I'm using #AtomForReddit. Hopefully it works for a while, but at least now I have a backup platform.
