Secondo un sondaggio Youtrend, il 73% dei cittadini residenti nel Comune di Fiumicino valuta in modo positivo il progetto di sviluppo dell'aeroporto, che prevede anche la realizzazione di una quarta pista. Tra i principali benefici attesi dal progetto, come riportato oggi da "Il Sole 24 Ore", i cittadini indicano soprattutto creazione di posti di lavoro, sviluppo economico e modernizzazione dell'aeroporto. Già oggi, secondo lo stesso sondaggio, quasi tre residenti su quattro (74%) valutano positivamente la presenza dell'aeroporto per quanto riguarda l'impatto su lavoro e occupazione, e il 64% per quanto riguarda la qualità della vita. Il sondaggio Youtrend per ADR è stato svolto tra il 2 e il 10 aprile 2026 su un campione di 1.005 residenti maggiorenni nel Comune di Fiumicino.
“Lo sviluppo dell'aeroporto di Fiumicino è un'opportunità sia per il territorio che per l'intero Paese dal punto di vista infrastrutturale, turistico, ambientale e socioeconomico - Così in una nota i parlamentari Lega del Lazio, Simonetta Matone, Giovanna Miele, Nicola Ottaviani - Se non bastassero queste motivazioni, se ne aggiunge un'altra: i cittadini lo chiedono a gran voce, stando al sondaggio condotto da YouTrend, e ADR ha già previsto di investire ben 9 miliardi tra realizzazione della quarta corsia e diverse opere compensative. Occorre quindi gettare il cuore oltre l'ostacolo e procedere quanto prima con l'approvazione del piano di sviluppo da parte di Enac e Governo, ascoltando le esigenze del territorio”.

According to a Youtrend survey, 73% of residents in the Municipality of Fiumicino value the airport development project positively, which also includes the construction of a fourth runway. Among the main expected benefits from the project, as reported today by “Il Sole 24 Ore,” residents indicate primarily job creation, economic development, and the modernization of the airport. Already today, according to the same survey, almost three out of four residents (74%) positively evaluate the presence of the airport regarding its impact on employment and occupation, and 64% regarding the quality of life. The Youtrend survey for ADR was conducted between April 2 and 10, 2026, on a sample of 1,005 adult residents in the Municipality of Fiumicino.
“The development of Fiumicino Airport is an opportunity both for the territory and for the entire country from an infrastructural, tourist, environmental and socio-economic point of view - Thus in a note, the League parliamentarians of Lazio, Simonetta Matone, Giovanna Miele, Nicola Ottaviani - If these reasons were not enough, another is added: the citizens ask for it in a loud voice, according to the survey conducted by YouTrend, and ADR has already planned to invest as much as 9 billion between the construction of the fourth runway and various compensatory works. Therefore, it is necessary to throw caution to the wind and proceed as quickly as possible with the approval of the development plan by Enac and the Government, listening to the needs of the territory.”
