Maybe the speed limit was there for a reason! Maybe you should keep your speed down for safety, not because there was a chance of punishment.

Have yu tried using the “2” or “1” positions on your gearbox lever? Then you don’t need to heat up the brakes before you have to.
(I’m assuming she drives a 3 speed automatic.)
