How was this taken? It is beautiful.

Also couldn't the discrepancy of the rotation of the Andromeda galaxy and its spiral arms be explained by dormant, i.e. not yet identified, black holes and/or neutron stars? Or that we do not know completely the dynamics of motion of stars in galaxy.
