So many QR scanner apps push subscriptions or track your scans by requiring constant internet access. That always bothered me.

Google Fit 要收攤了，之後請改用 Google Heath

前幾天 Google 發布了《Google Health Coach is becoming globally available》和《A new era for your wellness: Introducing the Google Health app》的消息、宣布將關閉 Fitbit 這個 App、並將釋出新的 App：Google Health。

這個新的 App 目前應該還沒上架，整個轉換應該是 5/19 開始、預計 5/26 完成。

這對沒有 Fitbit 裝置的 Heresy 來說本來應該沒有關係，但是根據 9to5google 的《Google Fit will shut down in favor of Health, migration tool coming later this year》的這篇文章、倒是提到：

現有的 Google Fit （Google Play）將在今年停止服務

雖然說 Google Fit 其實早在 2024 年就宣布要在 2025 年停止 API、建議開發者改成使用 Android Health 平臺來串接資料；不過基本上 Google Fit 這個 App 到都還是可以持續使用的  （參考、不過現在的開發者文件是寫 2026 年底終止）。

而現在看來，Google 終於要徹底把這個老 App 幹掉了啊…

理論上 Google 應該是會針對 Google Fit 的用戶提出轉移方案，不過老實說現在的資料應該也都是透過 Health Connect（Google Play）儲存在手機上了，所以…感覺應該不會太難轉移吧？

話說，雖然 Heresy 因為現在用的手錶是 GARMIN Instinct Solar，所以主要的紀錄 App 是 Garmin Connect，但是其實很早以前 Heresy 就有在用 Google Fit 了。

像是 Pebble Time 的時代、Heresy 就有把資料同步到 Google Fit 上；後來換成短命的 Fossil Hybrid Smartwatch HR 的那段時間，也是把資料同步到 Google Fit 以確保資料的連續性。

而雖然剛入手 Instinct Solar 的時候，Garmin Connect 還不支援和 Health Connect 同步，但是後來也有支援了；所以基本上 Heresy 大部分的健康資料其實都是透過 Google Fit 在看的～

接下來，大概也就只能等新的 Google Health 推出後，再看看是什麼狀況了？
