I posted my 'Amsterdam North Light Festival' photos over here a couple of days ago, but also in this group of the neighbourhood. That's when I learned in the comments that I somehow missed the pièce de résistance of the neighbourhood, so I couldn't resist to take a look for myself. And wow... 😂

Shame those parked cars were in the way last Saturday, I even went back yesterday hoping those cars wouldn't be there, but sadly they were… and I was told by a lady that seemed to live in the neighbourhood, the chances were very small those cars wouldn't be there anytime soon.

So this capture from last Saturday evening it has become, where a car that drove by at least covers the parked cars somewhat with its lights.

In the Amsterdam city center, they have the Amsterdam Light Festival. North of the river IJ though, there's the Amsterdam North Light Festival. 😜

With thanks to everybody in the Tuindorp Oostzaan neighbourhood for decorating their houses with a multitude of Christmas lights to literally provide some light in these dark days. 😊
