The other day, I didn’t fully close the skylight, so a ray of sunlight was still coming into the room. A few minutes later, my dog had already settled exactly in that spot on the bed, deeply asleep, enjoying the warmth like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

I was in the middle of a work session, fully focused, when Rocky started scratching. Not loudly. Just enough to say: “Hey… it’s time for a break.”
A few seconds later, he was already in my arms. On his back, head resting against my chest. He looked at me with that calm, almost satisfied expression, like he had won something important.
And in that look, there was a very clear message: “Honestly… this is the best place to be.” 🤍
When your dog turns into a total clingy baby 🐶🤭 And looks at you like this while putting his paw on your arm:
“Alright. I’ve done the math. You’ve been leaving WAAAY too often. So I’m officially announcing that I’m sticking to you from now on.
Going to the living room? I’m coming.
Bathroom? I’m coming.
Picking up a package? I’ll sign too.
… Wait. You’re not going to adopt another puppy, right? Because if you are… I’m starting a union. 😤”
