A Brookline developer will soon file plans for a six-story, 58-unit residential building at 1200 Soldiers Field Rd., to replace an empty office building that was once slated to be torn down for the new home of WBZ-TV, which in turn planned to move from its longtime home next door to make way for a four-building, mainly life-sciences campus, only the market for new life-sciences lab space in the Boston area collapsed and the developers abandoned their plans in 2024. A Newton woman s scheduled for arraignment Thursday on charges she claimed to be a doctor and performed, and botched, cosmetic eyelid surgery on a patient in 2020 in an apartment on Brighton Avenue in the Packards Corner section of Allston, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.
