My sis is in the market for a Multifunction (all-in-one) color laser/led network printer but I have no clue what's current and what's to avoid.
I'm running a Samsung Xpress SL-C480W/TEG but Samsung sold there printer divisionn to HP.

She definitly don't want anything from HP.

From a quick look both the
Brother MFC-L3760CDW
and the
Canon i-SENSYS MF657Cdw
seem to fit the bill (LAN, Linux Support, Air Print/Air Scan)

Any tips or suggestions?

Scan to Network Folder doesn't work on macOS Sonoma.

@BrianBaughn, he is indeed trying to set the target of the scan to network folder as the Mac. The problem is that HP printers are very finicky with Macs. The "network folder" in this case is the local folder on the Mac. @kaporor, I'm bummed it isn't working. If it's any help, I am planning...
