Arcturax 🦇I can't help but think back to this message I read added to the "Statue of the Unknown Dragon" on the now all but dead Alfandria MUCK. You'll never get this kind of feeling from modern social media. Not in an eternity.
Since I'm posting cool group pictures, here's another, a picnic with the dragons of #alfandria which was a fantasy land made by the early dragons and furs who were on the usenet group "alt.fan.dragons" back in the 1990s and early 2000s. The community has survived, smaller than it was, but there are discord and telegrams of it. It was mostly a dragon place but a few non dragons like me found my way there too!
