Future Seeds is a state of the art gene bank housing the global core collection of beans, cassava, and tropical forages. The bank also acts as a biodiversity museum, education center, and houses an institute of the Colombian national program. The building, designed by Alejandro Echeverri y Valencia Arquitectos, will be the world's first gene bank to obtain platinum sustainability certification.
