The singer – who will be 83 years old on July 26th – arrived on the island by helicopter and was greeted with warmth and hospitality by the islanders. He is a guest at a private villa. The topography of California has always fascinated me, specifically the deserts (mostly the Mojave) of the east. Originally, I believed the Eureka Valley wasn't part of Death Valley, but was pleasantly suprised to learn it's simply an isolated park of the park. (1/2)
