@LifeTimeCooking @toridas_. Hello. Yes. The Kirsten Shockey recipe is the starting point. Then substitutions happen as we try to grow our own vegetables and greens. The fermentation experience goes so well even with substitutions. Thanks for chipping in from Australia. #fermentation, #growyourown, #Adzhika, #minnesota.
The dill has gone rogue. We have a grand plan. Make fermented Adzhika relish and raise swallowtail caterpillars. June 5, 2024. #fermentation, #pollinators, #growyourown, #adzhika, #nodig, #minnesota.
@johntimaeus @Pollinators @BroadforkForVictory. Yes. We have only had it the fermented way. The recipes in the Kirsen Shockey book of Fiery Ferments are successes. #zhug, #rempah, #sambal, #Adzhika, #piripiri and on. #fermentation, #growyourown.
@parslii @Pollinators @faab64. The fermented Adzhika recipe is from #KirstenShockey. The book is Fiery Ferments. We use 2% salt for the weight of the ingredients. One batch is a half pound of red chiles like cayenne. And a half pound of bell pepper, and a stalk of celery, and two cloves of garlic, and one cup loosely packed fresh dill, and a quarter cup loosely packed fresh cilantro. It’s a good fermentation. #fermentation, #Adzhika.
