Harry SintonenThe dosdude1's video about restoring #Apple destroyed A12Z-based Apple Silicon Developer Transition Kit (DTK) brought up some interesting bits, such as that you can interrogate Apple online service for the device serial number and associated device mac addresses (which then can be used to activate the device once correct values are restored to the SYSCFG). If the devices were physically destroyed and scrapped you'd think Apple would also had removed this information from the online service, effectively making it impossible to reactivate them.
