at a kid's play session I talked to a fellow parent who has a degree in #philosophy and specifically in #scientific research method. It was a fascinating convo and made me realise I never had a formal grasp of my science method: the way I identify and approach the research subjects. I simply picked up conventions from my successive supervisors but now I wonder if a formal introduction would be better? Does anyone have recommendations of textbooks or reviews on this? #accademicchatter

For years my R fluent colleagues (and my wife ) told me that commercial software like GraphPad is an addiction, I knew that but I was addicted. Dragged and kicking for two weeks, since May 1st, I am glad to report I quit GraphPad and I am free !!! #opensource
