Les abelles ja dormen i descansem intranquils. Quantes en sortiran a la primavera? Quina tardor tan estranya i calenta.

Bees, in particular solitary species, are known to have short species-specific flight times of few weeks throughout the year. Small temporal and spatial variation of those flight times is normal and published data should always be treated with consideration of their spatial scope. Recently, however, there have been increasing reports of bee species being active far outside their usual flight season. This project is a place to collect all those observations to aid further assessment of possible environmental factors leading to this increase in "out of season" bees. What should be added to the project? - Bees in natural environments far off their reported flight time. - Evidence for a second generation of univoltine species (or a third generation of bivoltine species). What should not be added to the project? - Observations of bee species that are known to be active on warm days during the winter (e.g. Xylocopa spp.). - Observations of out of season bees, where a direct human impact c...

Bombus pascuorum, the common carder bee, is a species of bumblebee present in most of Europe in a wide variety of habitats such as meadows, pastures, waste ground, ditches and embankments, roads, and field margins, as well as gardens and parks in urban areas and forests and forest edges. It is similar in appearance to Bombus muscorum, and is replacing the species in Northern Britain.... (Source: Wikipedia, '', http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bombus_pascuorum, CC BY-SA 3.0 .
