What I think is the entrance to the former Scotstoun West Railway Station on Burnham Road in Glasgow. Scotstoun West was an island station, with its platform on the viaduct above the entrance. The station was part of the Caledonian Railway line between Partick and Dunbarton. It opened as Scotstoun Station in 1896, and changed its name to Scotstoun West in 1900. It closed in 1964 as part of the cuts instigated by Richard Beeching.

The remains of one of the platforms of Kirklee Station hidden away amongst the trees in the Botanic Gardens in the West End of Glasgow. The station opened in 1896, and temporatily closed in 1917. It re-opened in 1919 and then closed permanently in 1939. The line closed in 1964 and the station buildings were demolished in 1971.

A look back on some film photography adventures on the Isle of Wight from the summer. This is the former Yarmouth rail station, now turned into a railway themed cafe and cycle hire company. The old track is now a public footpath you can walk along, still has the signal in place.
