There was also a signal box at the eastern end of this station, again dating from 1896, but I don't know if any trace of it remains.

The remains of the former Victoria Park Station in the Whiteinch area of Glasgow. Part of the Lanarkshire and Dumbarton Railway, it opened in 1896. Its name was changed first to Scotstoun in 1900 and then Scotstoun East in 1952, before it closed in 1964.

The 1905 Scotstoun Public School (now Scotstoun Primary School) on Earlbank Avenue in the west of Glasgow. Scotstoun didn't become part of Glasgow until 1926, and as a result this building bears the legend Renfew Landward School Board. Apparently, this school board favoured including distinctive towers, such as the one on this school, on their buildings.

What I think is the entrance to the former Scotstoun West Railway Station on Burnham Road in Glasgow. Scotstoun West was an island station, with its platform on the viaduct above the entrance. The station was part of the Caledonian Railway line between Partick and Dunbarton. It opened as Scotstoun Station in 1896, and changed its name to Scotstoun West in 1900. It closed in 1964 as part of the cuts instigated by Richard Beeching.

40 Kingsway Court in the Scotstoun area of Glasgow. It's one of six tower blocks built in the 1960s as part of the Kingsway Court Estate.

Love the font on this incised sign for the girls entrance to the former Victoria Drive Secondary school in the Scotsoun area of Glasgow. Designed by Kerr and Watson, it opened in 1909. The school itself is long gone, replaced by housing, but its gateposts, with their skillfully carved lettering, remain.

A while ago I posted the logo of the Automatic Telephone Manufacturing Company (formed in 1911) which I found on a manhole cover in Broomhill. Today, I found one in Scotstoun with the very similar logo of the Automatic Telephone and Electric Company, which ATM became in 1936. These are the only two such manhole covers I've found in Glasgow so far.
