Hmm, just this week I found a Insta user complaining about having over 10k follows but with little engagement in the tens to low hundreds*.

My anecdotal data is when I left Twitter, mostly, I doubled my follower account here on the fediverse in 1/2 the time vs. when I was on Twitter. There are just more _actual_ real flesh and blood users here vs. Twitter per their engagement here vs there in my experience.

I've also seen a TON of stories about #MetaBots and how their #ZombieInternet over there is going, much like #Twitter, as a BotNet experience, goes, #enshittification wise. 💩🤖🔍👀

That's just the state of Twitter since everyone, like Meta, left the place and was replaced with Bots to make the place look busy. They call it a #ZombieInternet issue at both companies.

Odd since it's just a private company now with only the loan payment paymaster lender banks to answer to money wise quarterly. They killed advertising there with the CTO's #GFY moment and the dumb subscription revenue plan to replace advertising... didn't pan out...

The pivot to porn, like Meta did years ago, is going as expected though. 🙃
