We just found out that the new #EV model we were interested in is sold out for 2026. The planned production volumes were snapped up before demo units arrived in showrooms. Canadians in general were more decisive than us and purchased 21,574 new zero-emission vehicles in March, an increase of 74.7% over 2025. Also in March, #ZEV sales made up 12.2% of total new motor vehicle sales, double the rate over last year.

The headline number is modest but measurable: for every 200 #ZEV added in a neighborhood, #NO2 levels fell by about 1.1% between 2019 and 2023.
