Event: ZZAP! Live 2026 in Coventry (England)
On 15–16 May, the fourth "ZZAP! Live" event for all Commodore and Amiga systems will take place at The Village Hotel in Coventry (England), organised by Fusion Retro Books. VIP tickets for Friday evening, Saturday and Saturday evening are basically sold out, but standard tickets for Saturday (£25) are still available.

The event covers primarily Amiga, C64 and others from the Commodore brand, but also includes a variety of other platforms.

DMA Design Legends Discuss Lemmings, GTA & More in New Zzap! Live 2025 Interview

Zzap! Live: For anyone fascinated by Scotland’s rich videogame heritage, a newly published interview with some of the original DMA Design team members offers a captivating journey back to the origins of some of the studio’s most iconic titles.

If you’re new to this, DMA Design was the creative force behind global phenomena Lemmings and Grand Theft Auto. Several of the original team members, including Mike Dailly, Gary Timmons, Steve Hammond, Russell Kay and Brian Watson, recently attended the retro gaming event Zzap! Live 2025, and a recording of their group Q&A session is now available to watch on YouTube.

The interview, titled DMA Design, Creators of Lemmings, GTA & Shadow of the Beast. Q&A Talk at ZZap! Live 2025 Event, was published on May 23, 2025, on the “Back to 8-bit YouTube channel. Spanning nearly an hour and a half, the Q&A discusses the genesis of the studio’s games.

Zzap! Live, an event celebrating the golden era of retro videogames, provided the perfect backdrop to share their insights into the creation of classics like Lemmings, Grand Theft Auto, Shadow of the Beast and more.
