People driving with #COVID brain has me taking a page out of my IT systems book.
I've instituted Zero Trust Driving (ZTD).
I need to verify the credentials of every other driver before allowing them in my space. Whereas I could previously reasonably assume that a vehicle on the road was being operated by a driver with a license in good standing, and the cognitive ability do so in a safe manner - I can now no longer trust, without verifying (via observation) that people will not:
-Drive though a four way stop
-Run a red light
-Turn left into oncoming traffic
-Lane drift
-Drive on the wrong side
-Try to change lanes into me
-Etc., etc., etc.
I wouldn't be instituting #ZTD if it was the normal, occasional occurrences of this while driving. But one or more of these happens ever single time I'm on the road. No exaggeration.
